Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar storage we use on demitrydavidson.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. By default we set only strictly-necessary cookies. Analytics and marketing categories are off until you opt in.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time. Your choice is stored on this device only.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Sites use cookies and similar storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) to remember preferences, keep you signed in, and — with consent — measure usage.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function — session, security, and remembering your cookie choices.
- Examples
- session cookie, consent record
- Duration
- Session — 12 months
Analytics
Anonymous, aggregated usage data so we can see what works on the site and what to fix.
- Examples
- page views, referrers, device class
- Duration
- Up to 24 months
Marketing
Used only if we run targeted campaigns. Disabled today; the toggle reserves your preference if we ever turn them on.
- Examples
- campaign attribution
- Duration
- Up to 12 months
Third parties
Once commerce and member features go live, the site will rely on Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication, and Resend for email. These services may set their own strictly-necessary cookies when you interact with them directly. We do not embed third-party advertising or social-tracking pixels.
Browser-side controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break the site (you won't be able to stay signed in or hold a session). For category-level control on this site, use the preferences manager above.
