About

I coach the kind of strength you keep.

I'm Demitry Davidson, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer focused on functional strength, hybrid calisthenics, and the kind of physical capability that holds up over decades — not seasons.

S2S — Strength to Skill

Strength. Control. Longevity.

S2S represents the process. Strength built with purpose. Control earned through practice. Longevity achieved through consistency.

S2S stands for Strength to Skill.

The idea is simple: strength should improve how you move through life, not just how you look in photos.

That means developing:

  • strength you can use
  • movement you can control
  • joints that continue functioning well long term
  • physical confidence that lasts beyond one phase of life

Behind the method

I came to coaching through my own body — not through a personal-brand pitch.

Coaching wasn't my first career. I worked in the New Mexico film industry on major productions after earning a B.A. in Film & Digital Media from the University of New Mexico. The work that became S2S started with a question I was asking about my own body — and the answers came from study, not from a brand.

The story

I didn't get into fitness to become an influencer or sell transformation packages.

I got into it because I saw how easily physical capability slips away when no one's paying attention.

I grew up playing lacrosse and stayed active year-round, but when consistent training disappeared from my life the losses were obvious — strength, mobility, coordination, the quiet physical confidence that lets you trust your own body.

That recognition wasn't abstract. My parents live with chronic illnesses, including Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy, and watching that reality up close made the timeline real. Physical capability is not guaranteed. The work to keep it has to start long before you're forced to fight for it.

Most people don't wake up feeling old. It happens gradually. Less mobility. More stiffness. More hesitation to move the way you once could. Strength fades when it isn't maintained, and most people were never taught how to rebuild it safely.

Meanwhile, the industry keeps pushing extremes that aren't survivable long-term — programs built around aesthetics, punishment, or burnout, with movement quality, recovery, and joint health treated as afterthoughts.

What I coach is the opposite of that.

Resistance training, calisthenics, mobility work, corrective exercise principles, and progressive programming designed to meet people where they actually are. Some clients want to get leaner. Some want to rebuild after years away from training. Others just want to feel athletic again without feeling beat up.

The work is the same: becoming stronger, more capable, and more resilient — and staying that way.

What coaching actually looks like

The operational picture.

Coaching here is structured, not improvisational. Here's what tends to show up in your week.

  • 3–4 sessions per weekBuilt around your schedule and recovery.
  • Progressive programmingEvery block earns the next one.
  • Movement assessmentsPeriodic check-ins, not one-time.
  • Mobility integrationFolded into training, not bolted on.
  • Weekly adjustmentsPrograms evolve with your data.
  • Realistic progressionBuilt for the long curve, not the crash.
